Greenlee Custom Calls designs and builds all our custom calls here in the shop in Alabama. You want custom I can do custom, I cut a majority of the trees myself and saw them into what is needed with a chainsaw and alot of work. Greenlee Custom Calls only uses the finest wood in every call and selects only Pennsylvania black slate for our turkey pots.
The Greenlee Custom Call hobby all started with the love of woodworking and hunting. Woodworking is something I have been involved with for as long as I can remember, so a quite a few years. My father, grandfather and great- grandfather (Lumber yard owner) are were woodworkers so my introduction and love grew with them. As for hunting, being from the South I have hunted since I was six years old, everything from whitetail deer to grey squirrel, the majority of my time as a teenager was spent in the wilderness of Alabama with a rifle, shotgun or bow. I received a lathe as a christmas present. Nevertheless, the combination of all three was the catalyst for Greenlee Custom Calls.
Just remember I am now retired Military. Also, Greenlee Custom Calls is not my full time occupation and I am by no means a web designer so please forgive my attempt. This hobby started as a way to occupy my time after retirement; nevertheless the stars aligned and this website started a few years early. As a result, most orders, especially those special custom orders may take a few weeks to compete.
